Who We Are

Who We Are

Meet the People Behind CREATE

At CREATE, our people are passionate about making sure the voices of children and young people with a care experience are heard, valued, and acted on.

Our Executive Team leads the organisation day to day, driving CREATE’s strategy and operations, while our Board provides strong governance and guidance to keep us focused on our mission.

Across Australia, our State and Territory teams are on the ground delivering programs, events, and activities that connect and empower children and young people. They’re the faces you’ll see at our Connection Events, workshops, and forums - creating safe, fun, and supportive spaces to be heard.

Within these local teams are our Advocacy Leads, who play a key role in CREATE’s Change ethos - working alongside young people to elevate their voices and influence positive, lasting change in the care system.

Feedback & Complaints

This website was built in consultation with children and young people with a care experience. Thank you to all the young people involved in providing feedback and sharing your insights throughout this process.

CREATE Foundation acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples and Traditional Owners of the lands, skies and waters where we live and work. We pay deep respect to Elders, knowledge holders and community leaders across all Aboriginal communities.

We acknowledge that Australia is culturally rich with the oldest living cultures on earth. And we acknowledge over 60,000 years of growing kids strong, connected to culture and Country.
